As of October 2021 Zambia, like most places in the world still has cases of Covid-19. However, cases are currently relatively low. Unfortunately, Zambia remains on many countries red lists meaning possible quarantine when you return home. Please check with your local government on rules related to visiting Zambia.
Zambia does not require quarantine for new arrivals, but you will need to present a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival.
Zambia expects everyone to practice social distancing and mask wearing, but all sectors of the economy are currently open for business with no restrictions. The situation is being monitored daily.
Obviously things can change quickly, so please do your due diligence prior to travelling. Zambia has accelerated its vaccine program so hopefully, things will become less certain going forward.
With all that said, if your country allows visits to Zambia, then please do come and help rejuvenate our tourism industry.
