For good, honest food from the grill you can’t go wrong at Bongwe’s Pub & Restaurant. Their steaks are cooked to perfection, the chips are crispy and their Bongwe Burgers are out of this world. Sourcing all ingredients locally, this is a must place to try. Vegetarians are also welcome. The spacious grounds are situated along the elephant corridor, so from around May through to November herds of elephants often pay a visit.

The bar has a dart board and a pool table, as well as a large flat screen TV for those crucial games. Drinks at Bongwe are very well priced which makes a fresh change from the hotel prices that you may pay elsewhere in town.
