Cheshire homes

Cheshire Homes is a faith based non-governmental organization that was established in 1996. Cheshire Homes Livingstone was established after a survey was conducted to find out how many children were living with disabilities and how these children where surviving. It was found that there were many children living with disabilities and most of these children faced stigma.

They were hidden from the world and not given the opportunity to fully reach their potential. Cheshire Homes aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities by campaigning for the removal of all forms of barriers that hinder them from achieving their full potential. The organization has worked with over (50) fifty children and persons with disabilities,some of whom are now pursing their tertiary education and acquiring skills.Cheshire Homes works with children and persons with disability throughout Livingstone and Kazungula Districts. They offer a secure and friendly learning environment for children with disabilities.
