Kwathu Children’s Home

Kwathu is a Nyanja word which means “my place or my home” providing a loving and caring family environment for vulnerable children aged 3 to 17 years to live within and call home.Kwathu Children’s Home is a non-profit faith based charitable home in the city of Livingstone. It has been in existence since 2005. Its main focus is caring for vulnerable children and women in our society. The Home provides shelter, education, psychosocial support, care for HIV infected affected children.  It provides life skills to vulnerable children in a healthy, stable and safe environment as well as empower mothers to break the cycle of abuse and diseases by teaching family building skills and trade in order to strengthen hearts.
