Marcopolo Tiles

Marcopolo Tiles Company Limited is a manufacturing company that was incorporated in Zambia on 8th July 2016, and commenced production in 2017. The company was primarily established to venture into research, development and production of high quality ceramic and porcelain products for interior and exterior decorations. The company currently produces certified Porcelain, Glazed, Ceramic and Glazed Porcelain floor and wall tiles of different dimensions and sizes. All Marcopolo products are manufactured at its state of the art production facility located in Lusaka West, off Mungwi road. The factory was officially commissioned on 1st December 2017 by His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Zambia, Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu. The company produces tiles to meet both the local and foreign demand in the region after research showed that in Southern Africa, only South Africa produced 30% of Ceramic Tiles for its population. Thus, Marcopolo Tiles Company Limited is the first company outside South Africa to manufacture porcelain and ceramic tiles in Southern Africa, and exports tiles to the following countries: Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
