This fully educational Livingstone walking safari gives guests the chance to experience the bush on foot as well as in the car. A two hour walking safari provides a much different perspective on the bush and its wildlife. It’s really the smaller things that we miss from the vehicle that add to the safari experience. Providing a fresh take on the wild surroundings you learn how to identify various species from nothing more than the signs they leave behind. Walking safaris provide a great way to interact with big and small game alike, providing a great way to experience the African bush.
Safety is the primary concern at all times
Whilst elephants, giraffe and buffalo are prevalent in the national park, your experienced walking guides always keep a safe distance. They understand animal behavior well, with safety being their primary concern at all times. A Livingstone walking safari is always accompanied by an armed wildlife police officer. He is there for everyone’s safety and comfort providing a peace of mind to those that may be a little nervous heading into the experience. This Livingstone walking safari and game drive combo is truly the best way to experience walking and driving in the African bush. The safari includes a bush breakfast on the banks of the Zambezi and a National Parks supervised visit to the Rhino. These rare and endangered rhino are the the only ones you can see in the wild in Zambia.
A Safari to Remember!
Bongwe Safaris do not subscribe to the tick-all-the-boxes super fast safari. They prefer to savour the special moments and take their time exploring the African bush. The wildlife is not there to cater to everyone’s needs and pose for quick photos at the drop of a hat. Sometimes, they just do not want to be found. Fair enough. There is not much point, therefore, rushing around trying to tick off the “bucket list” where you gain little and experience even less. Instead, Bongwe take their time, spend more hours in the bush and enjoy the sightings that they come across.
