White water rafting down the Zambezi is one of the top activities in the region. Naturally there are several operators offering trips of differing types. The one constant that all these operators have in common is the river. So whilst prices may vary to some degree between operators, the rapids that you experience will be the same no matter who you go with.
Maano are the “new kids on the block” in terms of operating years. With only a few years under their belt thay are now part of the rafting scene alongside the elder statesment of the river. Having said that, it doesn’t mean they lack experience as most of their raft guides have more years of experience than the age of the company would suggest having worked for many years with other operators. Their equipment is up to date and specced well so there shouldn’t be any worries there.
Whilst Maano may lack the experience of the other operators and their website could do with an upgrade into the 21st century, you can get good value for money on some of their trips.
